My blog will share the stories behind my pencil portrait sketches, my surreal art, architectural paintings, art seascapes, wall murals, one of a kind unique sculptures, and my favorite, drawing and painting of hands. I will offer tips and help in constructing an oversized canvas. I work in a variety of mediums as in oil, graphite, pastel, colored pencils, ink, acrylic, clay and many other special projects. In addition to my art, I will offer help with unique faux finishes on interior walls.

Tree Lovers ... Sculpture 20" tall

Here is a love story for you ... My Tree People. : )

Hurt by others, they stood alone ... wounded in the forest.

Living always apart, they struggled each day ...to find the strength to live on.
They kept their faith...even though it was not easy...and always longing to be like all others.

Many cold nights they stood alone ... but knew ... that with each new day.....they would feel the sun's warmth once again.

Days turned into weeks....weeks turned into months...months turned into years.

Day after day....was the same....until a violent storm came their way.
Their bodies grew weak and they were afraid.
No matter how hard they tried to stand on their own... they started to fall.

Suddenly.... and to a pleasant surprise .....they fell into each others arms.
Little did know ... that they were always only inches apart.

Her gentle limb would reach up to touch his face.....yet knowing ... it was no longer there. That was the moment...they began to see each other with their hearts.
My love...he whispered so softly to her..........come stand close to me. She stood so close to him, until they became the strongest tree of all.

I got this idea from holding hands, believe it or not. I think that when you hold hands, your palms have a sensual and magical touch.
